Great Recipes for Leftovers!

So if you are like me, you hate food waste. There has been way too many times that I have opened the fridge only to find a squishy cucumber shoved to the back with no hope of saving it.  This year I have tried to reduce our food waste as much as possible, and that involves becoming a little adventurous with recipes! I usually begin following a recipe...… and then halfway through making it I just let lose and do whatever pops into my head! Sometimes it works and then sometimes..... it really doesn't work! But you have to challenge yourself right??!! Anyway my three favourite recipes for leftovers are: 1: Banana bread - So many different recipes for banana bread so I would suggest trying a few to see which is right for you and your family. We make our banana bread with just some plain flour, eggs, bananas, a pinch of salt, a dash of milk and if we are lucky enough to have chocolate chips in the cupboard then those are thrown in too! 2. Living As A Student

Living as a student can be extremely tough! Especially if you don't have a part time job. While I was away at college I had to get my head around sticking to budgets, saving money for unexpected expenses and getting the best deals with groceries! It isn't easy, but it is worth it!  Anyway I have compiled a list of handy tips and tricks to help you along your study path and hopefully you can save some money!! 1. Start a savings account. Yes, you probably already have a bank account, but I am talking about a Credit Union account or a Post Office account. Why? Because you need to go to your local branch to get your money out (some offer online services). That way if you are living away at college you will need to go home to dip into your savings. You're asking why this is handy? Well I am not saying don't have a bank account as well, you really need one as a student to get money at ATM's when necessary, but you are less likely to spend money unnecessaril

Hello Out There!

Well hello there! Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy reading through my blog posts as much as I have enjoyed writing them. I post about all things crafty, money saving and general lifestyle every week. Got to keep you on your toes with different topics!  Right now I am writing this introduction in a heatwave.... it's supposed to hit 28C+ today!!
